Founders Classical Academy is a public charter school—tuition-free and open to all students. Charter schools operate with more flexibility than traditional public schools, allowing us to create a focused educational environment that reflects our mission and values. That freedom means we can offer a classical education model that emphasizes strong character, academic excellence, and civic responsibility, all within a supportive and purpose-driven community.

Our Approach
Timeless Truths, Lasting Principles
Founders utilizes a classical approach to education, characterized by a traditional liberal arts and sciences curriculum, tried and true teaching practices, and a deep orientation toward truth, beauty, and goodness.
Our Philosophy
Shaping Minds and Hearts
At Founders Classical Academy, education is not merely a transmission of facts, but a pursuit of wisdom and virtue. We are devoted to forming young men and women who embody the ideals of truth, goodness, and beauty—students who are intellectually curious, morally grounded, and civically engaged. Our graduates are prepared not only for college and careers but for lives of purpose and service in a free and flourishing society.
A Mindset
Education is a moral enterprise. We believe that well-informed, self-governing individuals who pursue the common good are essential to a healthy republic. This mindset underpins our entire academic culture.
A Body of Knowledge
We teach an intentional sequence of content that builds cultural literacy and intellectual depth. From classic literature and primary sources to science, art, and Latin, students encounter the best that has been thought and said across Western civilization.
An Instructional Method
We follow a threefold classical method—known as the Trivium—guides how students learn: Grammar (K–5), Logic (6–8), and Rhetoric (9–12). Our instruction builds upon prior learning, respects a natural hierarchy of learning for students, and calls them to maturity through purposeful effort.

Founders students are trained to pursue what is true, do what is good, and love what is beautiful.
This is not just our motto—it’s our way of life.
